The reading assignment for after Thanksgiving
break will include chapters 3-5 in Bown's book, A Most Damnable Invention: Dynamite, Nitrates, and the Making of the
Modern World. Feel free to get
a head start on this.
Because I'm still lecturing on Newton and
Galileo there will be no extra readings due for 11/22/11. I apologize... but I imagine you all
are ok with this.
Think about your projects and start researching
them.
